Orange Nightmare Surreal Political Art Print

Orange Nightmare is about what it feels like to live in the Trump era and slowly feel like you’re losing your grip on what’s real.

The constant bad news. The brain fog. Watching good be painted as evil and feeling like you’re being told not to believe what you can see happening in front of you.

The figure is trapped inside a maze with no clear way out, her face distorted and exhausted. It’s that feeling of taking in too much for too long, while the news never stops and everything starts bleeding together.

I painted Orange Nightmare from that feeling of being mentally trapped in a reality you don’t recognize anymore, trying to hold onto yourself while everything around you feels upside down.

Printed from my original painting for lovers of surreal, emotional, and political art that comes from a very specific moment in time.
