Things are bad right now. Not uncomfortable, not tense, genuinely bad. And when things reach this point, neutrality is not an option. We have to show up for each other in real ways.
January 30th is the Economic Blackout.
No work. No school. No shopping. A collective pause to remind the people in power that our labor, our attention, and our money matter.
This weekend, Friday through Sunday, we’re standing with Minnesota. A portion of all sales during that time will be donated to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, and the 10% discount is extended through Sunday to make participation more accessible.
When we do spend, we try to do it intentionally. We choose small businesses. We choose community. We choose not to give our money to corporations that actively back Trump and the systems causing harm. We encourage you to do the same whenever you can, keep your money circulating locally, ethically, and with care.
This is not about perfection. It is about alignment. Using our voices, our energy, and our resources to support people who are being targeted and to remind each other that solidarity is still possible.
Thank you for standing with us, and with Minnesota.
